Review: Play! By Sephora

Hello hello! Sephora, (my heaven) has a beauty subscription box called Play! By Sephora. I’ve been a subscriber for five months now and I thought I would give you all my thoughts.

The box is $10 a month or $10.80 with tax to be exact. Here’s what you get:

  • A cute draw string bag
  • 5 deluxe skincare, makeup, or haircare samples with a fragrance bonus
  • Play! Book. Which gives you info and tips on the products you just received
  • Play! Pass to redeem for 50 beauty insider points
  • Play! Date for you and a friend to learn how to apply the products in the box
  • Free Shipping!

How Cute! Themed!

Each month has a different theme and the product range is pretty impressive. I have received items from Cover FX, IT Cosmetics, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Too Faced, Makeup Forever, and Smashbox just to name a few. The samples are indeed deluxe, some of the samples I have received I will use quite a while before I need to run to Sephora for a full size!

A few products I’ve gotten

The Play Box is in high demand so subscriptions are not available all the time; you can sign up for Sephora to notify you when a subscription is available.

My thoughts: for 10 bucks a month it’s a way to try new brands and also add variety to your beauty routine. I have been introduced to new brands that I now love and I’ve tried new products from brands I’ve loved and used for a while. I have enjoyed my box each month I’ve gotten it and I don’t see me cancelling anytime soon. What sets it apart from other beauty subscription boxes is that it’s from a brand (Sephora) I trust and love!

Live it. Love it. Style it.
