Food: Gnocchi with Homemade Parmesan Cream Sauce

Here’s a little something different for you on the blog this hump day. Food! Today we’re talking about Gnocchi!

Gnocchi is potato pasta and it’s amazing. I had Gnocchi for the first time at a restaurant a few years ago and fell in love.

Now I don’t hand make my Gnocchi but I do make my sauce from scratch and it’s pretty bomb if I do say so myself.

Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  1. Butter
  2. Minced garlic
  3. Milk or half and half
  4. Flour
  5. Parmesan (grated)

I don’t have specific measurements I kind of just go with the flow when I’m cooking! However if you would like the measurements so you can try this at home I will provide them!

This dish is quick, filling, easy, and can be quite fancy!


There is shrimp in the picture! You can do no meat or you can add chicken or shrimp, I’ve done both!
