Table Makeover AGAIN

Hello! I’m excited about this one! I’ve done it again. For my long-time readers, this is a makeover of a makeover.

Here is the original makeover: https://thestylishlife.wordpress.com/2017/08/13/table-makeover/

This time I wanted a change, and I think I got something really elevated and trendy- in a good way! This makeover allowed me to integrate the bouclé furniture trend in my space without going overboard, and I think there’s something timeless about this look!

What do you think?? I absolutely LOVE it. This piece is so special to me because of the history of this set, plus I love a good makeover!

Holiday Home Décor 2022: Neutral Glam

Hello! I’m so excited to show you this year’s Holiday home decor! I had a ton of fun decorating this year, and I really took my time to decide on what I wanted this year’s decor to look like.

Unlike years past, this year is much simpler, not minimal, but simple. I bought a few new pieces to really bring the theme together this year, but much of the decor I had already had.

This year I really focused on a neutral theme with elements of glam, and of course, the show-stopper is the tree. I used a lot of organic pieces and kept any color muted. I hope you enjoy this year’s decor as much as I do!

How are you decorating this year?

DIY: Bookshelf Upgrade

Hello! Today I’m sharing a DIY Upgrade of an old DIY. I built a bookshelf from a few pieces of random wood many years ago, and I just recently decided to upgrade.

The piece was looking rather worn, and to be honest, I didn’t go all in when I first built it, so I decided to not only upgrade but fully complete the project this time.

Neutral Fall Décor

It’s that time of year again! Fall is officially here, and I’m particularly excited about this year’s fall decor. I wanted to go very neutral this year.

What kicked off the neutral theme this year was a thrift store find! I have an amazing consignment shop downtown, and I was wandering around one Saturday, and I found a nice-sized glass pumpkin, and I had to have it!

So I surveyed the rest of my fall decor and pulled out pieces that went along with a natural neutral theme, changed up the pillows, and added some blankets for a cozy vibe.

I wanted cozy, warm, and transitional. I added color in a few places, but I opted for deep rich hues and leather accents. I wanted something that would last until it was time to decorate for Christmas. Something I wouldn’t get tired of, and that didn’t give that kitchy pumpkin basic fall vibe.

What’s your fall decor theme or vibe this year? Do you decorate for Halloween and then transition to a fall theme?
